Hi everyone! If you have been following me on instagram, you know that we just recently moved into our first home. With this new chapter, I wanted to make this house unique and reflect my own style. I LOVE a good traditional timeless space! I also love things that have a vintage feel to them. With our new kitchen, I thought now would be the perfect time to make my spice drawer and pantry reflect that! (I’ll be showing the pantry in a later post so stay tuned!).
I wanted a darker wood spice caps and drawer inserts. I like bamboo, but it was just a little too boho for my liking. I wanted it to feel like they were more vintage.
I decided to name these labels after the name I picked for our home ‘the highland house’. It just seemed fitting to name them that since they originated in my own kitchen! I will be linking the jars, spice drawer inserts, and labels below. I will also link to some really perfect risers if you don’t have room in your kitchen for a spice drawer, or if you just prefer them to be in your pantry or cupboard!

Needless to say I LOVE how it turned out. It has that clean look but still feels raw and like it just came out of an old apothecary. It is just the right touch to our kitchen and makes it so much easier to find and use all of our spices!
