Helpful Pregnancy Items

January 7, 2020

Hey everyone! Coming at you with post to help those of you that are expecting! I know many of you are having babies this year, so I thought I’d share some helpful pregnancy things! Sharing some of my maternity pictures from when I was pregnant to go along with this pregnancy post (almost 2 year now!).

I know when I was first pregnant I didn’t really know what to except, so I made this list in hopes to help you through all the ‘fun’ stages of pregnancy haha.

These are all the products that help me get through pregnancy and help me enjoy it more! These of course are only a few things, and I’m sure there are many more products out there, but these are the basic’s that helped me!

Prenatal
  • Prenatal – Obviously you need to take a prenatal while your pregnant (ideally you should be taking them 3 months prior to getting pregnant). I’m sure there are plenty of good options for a prenatal out there, but I like this one! It has everything you need plus DHA. They also have a liquid version if you like that better!
Heartburn Tea
  • Heartburn – If you are anything like me, I had terrible heartburn when I was pregnant! (Which good news, usually means your baby has lot’s of hair! And she did haha). I’ve heard good things about his tea helping with heart burn. It’s organic and safe for the mama and baby. I will defiantly try this on my next pregnancy.
Maeband (Small, Midnight Black)
Belly Band
  • Belly Band – This is to help your jeans fit for a longer period of time when your prego! Buying maternity clothes is annoying, but these help you be able to wear most of your jeans throughout your pregnancy.

Bum Bum Cream
  • Bum Bum Cream – Ok there is a reason that you see this all over my blog. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! It’s the only that has helped firm up my skin after I’ve had baby. Although some would argue it’s pricey, it is TOTALLY worth it! I love it an I will defiantly be putting it on the rest of my pregnancies, especially for post pregnancy.

Pregnancy Pillow
  • Pregnancy Pillow – I had a really hard time sleeping when I was pregnant. Lucky I’m a side sleeper but this would have helped SO much. With over 3,800 five star reviews I think others would agree that this pillow helps you sleep SO much better! It’s a life saver.
Magnesium Bath Soak
  • Bath Salts – Can you tell I’m a major Pink Stork fan? haha. I really found it helpful to Soak in the tub, and these salts help sooth your muscles and aches you’ll have. I would also recommend this baby duck thermometer, it will help make sure your baths aren’t too hot for your pregnant belly and you can use it later when you give them baths.
Women's Cross Band Soft Plush Fleece House/Outdoor Slippers (9-10 M US, Light Pink)
Faux Slippers
  • Slippers – You’ll want to have a new pair of slippers! I wore them ALL the time around the house. You’re feet get so sore and swollen that I wore them almost twenty four seven!
Compression Socks
  • Compression Socks – If your anything like me, my feet were tree stumps! haha. These compression socks are designed to promote blood circulation and oxygen flow reducing fatigue, swelling and helps in muscle recovery and varicose vein. It’s not an overnight fix, but in the long run they help!
Massager
  • Massager – At some point, your back will probably hurt during pregnancy. I asked for so many back massages I was sure my husband was going to kill me if I asked one more time! haha. I think having one of these would have helped the back aches and pains! This also fells amazing on feet.
Foot Spa
  • Foot Massager – Ok, to be honest my feet were like tree stumps towards the end of pregnancy! My sweet husband got this for me to help will my sore feet and I loved it! I usually put essential oils or bath salts in with it while I watched a show haha.
Wirezoll Nursing Bra, Wireless Women Soft Full Bust Bra for Maternity Breastfeeding and Sleep with Extra Bra Extenders Clips
Nursing Bras
  • Nursing Bras – You don’t have to spend too much on these in my opinion, they get milk all over them and you only use them for a year or so. These have snaps which personally loved! I got these three from amazon for only $18.99!

I hope this helps! If anyone can think of more to add to this list, feel free to write it in a comment below! I always love hearing about helpful products.

Thanks for visiting and happy shopping!

xo, Jamie
