This recipe has been one of my husbands favorites ever since we were newly weds. I remember those first couple of months spending a lot of time trying to find things we would both eat! Spending lot’s of time pinning things on Pinterest, and calling my mom for ideas (she’s an amazing cook!) This was one of those very first recipes I tried and I loved it! It’s super easy to make and healthy (as long as you like salmon), this one is pretty much a win win!
Salmon Asparagus
- 2 salmon fillets
- 4 lemon slices
- A batch of asparagus spears
- Slices of Onion
- 1tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
- Take two sheets of foil and lay them flat on a pan. Then grab your asparagus and cut off the ends and place them onto the foil. I like to drizzle the olive oil over them to help them cook.
- Place your salmon over each pile of asparagus.
- Sprinkle the salt, pepper, onion powder and Italian seasoning over the Salmon.
- Top the Salmon with the slices of lemon and onions.
- Wrap them up in the foil and place them in your oven.
- Cook for 30-35mins.
Personally, I like to serve this with either a side of rice or quinoa and then you are done! I hope you guys like this. I know we sure do!
