When I have a spare moment, I like to make some healthy snacks that are easy to grab and go with. In the past I have been TERRIBLE about snacks. I usually go for easy things I can grab out of the pantry like chips, cookies, and candy. Don’t get me wrong, I love to eat these things once in a while. But I also like to keep healthy snacks readily accessible, so if I’m feeling like the munchies I can grab this just as easily as I can grab the bag of chips. These No bake energy bites are by far one my favorites, and I’m sure you guys have seen many recipes that are similar to this one. They are super easy and healthy! They literally take me ten minutes to make!
I like to usually double this recipe to make lots of these little guys, but one batch should make around 20 bites depending on their size.
Enjoy!

No-Bake: Energy Bites
- 1 cup of dry oatmeal
- 2/3 cup of coconut flakes
- 1/2 cup ground flax seed
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (I usually don’t put these in mine, but when I can stand it I put some dark chocolate chips in)
- 1/3 cup of honey
- 1/2- 1 tbsp of chia seeds
- 1 tsp of vanilla or almond extract
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
Directions
- Stir all the ingredients together in a medium bowl (I let my kitchen aid with the paddle attachment do the work for me). Once it’s meshed together, let them chill in the fridge for an hour or so. Then roll them into bite size balls and store them in the fridge for up to a week.
